I entered the the International Shoot and Share contes for the second time and I'm so ecstatic to share the results with you.
There were 583,150 photos entered in the contest this year: 174,215 voters from 144 different countries with over 90 MILLION votes! Voting is all anonymous but highly addictive.
The Shoot and Share Contest is not your typical contest. Its the World's largest free and fair photo contest for photographers by photographers. Photographers from all over the world enter their photos without using their name or watermark - so no one knows who took the photos and they are judged based on merit alone, not how popular they are. The photos are entered into 25 different categories and voted on by other photographers - the photos with the most votes wins!
This year I had 6 photos place in the Top 30%, 1 in the Top 20%, 3 in the Top 10% and one image even made it as a Finalist! This is all so unbelievable, especially with so many other super talented photographers who entered. I'm so proud of this years results, especially since I did much better compared to my images that I had entered last year (1 Finalist, 1 Top 10%, 3x Top 20%, 2x Top 30%).
