 Join me as we celebrate the Magic of the Christmas Season. Your Fine Art Portrait Experience will include family portraits in the main room followed by the magic of our REAL SANTA in the second room - without waiting in line at the Mall!  Our Santa has many years of experience making the magic of Christmas come alive. 

 

This year I will be hosting Christmas photos on November 3rd and 4th at my home in Pickering - only 35 minutes from Toronto (address will be provided after booking). There will be 2 sets: Santa's Toy Workshop and Traditional Farmhouse Cottage with Fireplace. This enchanting atmosphere of luxury and warmth will be the perfect spot to capture your most memorable moments this season.

 
This is not your average mall Santa - we've got the REAL DEAL!  Watch as Santa spends quality time interacting with your children - talking to them and asking about their dreams and wish list. Our Santa is truly amazing and can warm the hearts of even the most reserved children. Let them have a real, one-on-one experience with a Santa who wants to make their wishes come true! Each child will receive a special keepsake gift from Santa and a thank you letter. Watch as your child shows Santa their wish list and finds their name written on his "Nice List".

Room #1 traditional farmhouse cottage (martha stewart style)

This will be the main room for family portraits when you arrive. At the heart of the main room, there is an eleven foot stone fireplace which will reign as the centrepiece with a stunning Christmas tree beside it - I would describe it as "Martha Stewart style farmhouse cottage".  The stone mantle will be adorned with oversized garland with  delicate ornaments hanging down. To the left of the fireplace, a majestic Christmas tree will await, in the opulent colour scheme of red and gold, adding an extra touch of magic to your holiday portraits.

Room #2 Santa's Toy Workshop

Santa's workshop is a BRAND NEW DROP this year! It will have a rustic wooden chair and boxes, filled with a select few of our most popular vintage toys dating back from as early as the 1950's. This set is guaranteed to incite awe and wonder as children will be invited to sit with Santa in his workshop and use their imaginations to help add finishing touches to the toys he is creating! Santa's workshop stays true to the old set with a rich, dark and a bit of a rustic feel, featuring new vibrant holiday colours. As mentioned above, there will be dozens of vintage and beautiful old fashioned (wooden) toys for children to play with and interact with Santa during their visit. Jewel tones (navy blue, emerald green, burgundy) will look stunning in this set.

What to Wear

I suggest that families wearing classic Christmas clothing - Lots of reds, silver + gold are perfect for a Christmas Portrait session.  

I don't think you can ever be too fancy for a photoshoot - add a bow tie or a sequin dress! Either way, your images will be filled with magic!  Its best to coordinate colours but don't be too matchy-matchy. Avoid big logos, characters or brand labels. This year will not have time for outfit changes.

Questions 

Surprises! If you would like to make this experience even more incredible, you are welcome to bring a special gift for your children in a gift bag discretely and watch as Santa hand delivers the presents to each of your kiddos. The wonder & amazement in their little eyes will make your experience even more memorable.  

What if my child is afraid of Santa? No worries! Our Santa is truly amazing! We have many tried and true strategies for earning your child's trust and adoration. However, if your child would prefer to sit in the big chair without Santa, that is absolutely fine! Santa can step into another room of my studio and we can continue with your session.

Gifts for Local Womens Shelter 

I'd like to be able to also give back to the community and donate some toys to a local womens shelter. You will have the opportunity to earn a $50 print credit with a new, unwrapped toy donation of $35 or more. It's simple! Just bring your toy to your session and earn your print credit! I will bring all the toys to the local womens shelter to wrap and deliver to the children. This is a wonderful opportunity to teach your children about the gift of giving!

Covid-19 Safety

 I have been fully vaccinated. A Health Waiver is required before coming into the studio.  Anyone sick or with symptoms of Covid will be given a credit for a future session. Clients will be asked to use the hand sanitizer provided upon entry.  Outdoor shoes are asked to stay at the entrance of the studio, clean indoor shoes will be allowed for photos.

As much as we try to accommodate our clients needs throughout the year, our Mini sessions are final sale as clients carefully select their portrait time to best suit their busy schedules.   All sales final /No refunds. Future credit can be given if symptoms of covid
