YOUR LUXURY PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE TIMELINE
CONSULTATION/ BOOKING
When you book your newborn and maternity session with me, you are booking a Custom Portrait Experience designed to create beautiful art work to display in your home. Before you book, I'd love to discuss your vision and how your would like to display your custom artwork.
PREPARATION GUIDE
Once you paid your session fee and contract is signed, I will send you a Preparation Guide to help prepare you for your session and know what to expect. It will include helpful hints on what to do before your sessions, suggestions on what to wear and a map to the studio.
PHOTOSHOOT DAY
On the day of your photoshoot, we'll meet at the studio for your session. If you're doing a maternity session; maternity gowns and professional make-up application is included in your session (this may not be included during Covid). Newborn sessions include everything you need for baby - Props, newborn outfits, Private studio space with Parent Lounge area and washroom, Complimentary Snacks and Beverages with Netflix & Wifi.
IN-PERSON REVEAL AND ORDERING APPOINTMENT
After your session, I will carefully go over all of the photos and select the very best from your session to fully edit for your personal proofing gallery. I take very special care during post processing to create beautiful images for your family to enjoy for years to come. Approximately 2-3 weeks after your session, we will meet again for your in-person reveal to select your favourite images. (I do NOT offer online galleries). You will also order and pay for your favourite products at this time. There is no minimum order - only buy what you love! Payment Plans are available.
FINISHED PRODUCT PRODUCTION & DELIVERY
Wall art, Albums and Keepsake Boxes are handmade here in Canada. Custom products can take anywhere from 4-10 weeks to complete after your reveal session. I always check each piece of custom artwork to make sure its perfect before its delivered to my clients. Once your finished products are completed, I'll arrange delivery and installation if required.
NEWBORN SAFETY
Safety is always my number one priority.
It's very important to choose a newborn photographer who puts safety first. It takes patience, skill and experience to safely pose your baby during their portrait session. I always have an assistant and/or encourage parents to participate in the session as spotter when required.
I've taken numerous newborn safety courses and trained with some of the best in the industry.
I’m up to date on all vaccines and wash all blankets, wraps and props after each session. Your newborn will always be supported by human hands in all upright positions and I will create a digital composite for any difficult poses (For example, froggy pose, hands on chin, or any images that appear to be suspended in a swing or hammock, etc). It's also important to allow the baby to lead the session and take breaks often for feeding and cuddling.
Parent and sibling shots are included in the top three packages and always encouraged.
Parents are always allowed in the shooting area during my portrait sessions at my studio. The shooting room can become very warm (as I may use heater at certain times of the year to keep the baby extra warm during their session), however I do have a floor-to-ceiling glass wall so you may choose to take breaks and watch on the other side where it’s cooler. Some parents choose to nap or catch up on a book.
NOTE - Due to Covid-19, we have precautionary measures in effect to ensure a safe environment for all - wearing a mask, sanitizing, etc)

Your Image Reveal
ALL physical art work comes with a corresponding,
COMPLIMENTARY digital file!
YOU choose your own images!!!
Approximately 3 weeks after your session, you’ll be invited back to the studio for your private Reveal and Ordering Session. (I don’t offer online galleries)
Together we will view a beautiful video slideshow, telling your little ones story. This is by far my favourite part of the entire experience! We will view approx. 30-40 edited images and you choose the ones you love most. It's at this point, that you decide which products you wish to purchase, and order any keepsake gift items.
I absolutely LOVE seeing the emotion and expressions when you view your images for the first time... Don't worry, I will have tissues for all of us! From there, you will hand select the images you love and must have.
There is NO MINIMUM order.
Do you want beautiful keepsakes or pieces of art to display in your home? I offer gorgeous custom albums and keepsake boxes for you choose from, as well as the option to design a gallery wall on your OWN walls. ALL physical artwork comes with a matching, complimentary digital file.
I have spent years researching products, and ordering samples to ensure I offer only the highest quality products to my clients. At our portrait session and again at your image reveal and ordering appointment, you will be able to see and touch these beautiful pieces - luxury wall products, custom albums with a choice of leather, silk or linen and gorgeous presentation boxes with matted prints.
There is nothing more exciting than seeing the work we have created together, in a gorgeous print or album at your fingertips!
I offer a Baby Registry option as well, if you would like family and friends to contribute towards a predetermined amount. I have cards that can be included in an invitation, or a simple email link can be included if sending an evite. Payment plans are available.

SESSION FEE $300
The $300 non-refundable session fee and contract are required to book your custom newborn or maternity session.
Receive a $100 Discount when booking both maternity & newborn together.

• Product Delivery of artwork to your house
