Outdoor Family Portraits in the Park | Flowering Blossom Trees

This adorable family of three came to see me for some outdoor family portraits just before Mothers Day. It was a perfect time to capture that one week while the flowering blossom trees were still in bloom. They don't always bloom the same week every year - its really dependant on the weather. We shot these portraits at a local park that is always beautifully landscaped with gorgeous manicured gardens. I always do family sessions at golden hour - just an hour before sunset, to get that soft and beautiful golden light in the background. Shooting at golden hour also avoids those harsh under eye shadows and doesn't make you squint when the sun is shinning in your eyes.

If you're considering an outdoor family portrait session - I'm doing fall mini sessions in October to capture all those beautiful fall colours, but I suggest you book soon as local mini sessions tend to get booked quickly. Check them out on my page under Outdoor Family Portraits

Here are some of my favourites from their session.
