A few weeks ago a former colleague came to my studio for some headshots. She was also expecting her second baby so we decided to do some maternity portraits as well. We didnt have a lot of time because she needed to catch a flight within the next hour, but we were still able to get some gorgeous shots. After I sent her the images, she emailed me back and said she loved all of them, but specifically the black and white silouette was her favourite... the one she never imagined doing!
This was her reply to me: "OMG - Thank you! I'm really really in love with this one. Never ever imagined doing shots of me barely dressed....and it ended up being my FAVOURITE one"!
Nothing is more rewarding than having your clients trust your vision and love their final images. There's so much joy in what I do and I'm so thankful to be able to capture these moments for my clients and for their future children.....I know her little boy is going to ask to see a photo of his mom pregnant with him one day and this is the image she will show him!
There's a lot that I love about being a photographer: Meeting new clients, getting to know them during their session and creating gorgeous photographs that my clients and their family will cherish for years to come is very rewarding. She's getting to get some big wall art for her house to share these special memories with those she loves.
