I absolutely loved meeting this new family of three ! I had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous family and their new baby girl at their Toronto home a few weeks ago. This little girl even had her grandparents come all the way from China to welcome her home.
I'm always so excited to meet my clients and their new babies during their first few weeks of life. I remember how quickly those first few weeks pass by in a blur.... You will want to remember all those little details - little toes and tiny lashes. My favourite part of photographing families with their new babies is capturing the joy and growing bond between them, and of course being able to gush over your beautiful babies! As you can tell - is little one is loved immensely.
Newborn Lifestyle Photography is a mix of documentary style and portrait photography that aims to capture your family in your real-life environment: your home. This style uses natural light and avoids using props or backdrops. Many families prefer this style and appreciate that they don't have to travel anywhere with a newborn - especially families with youngl siblings or moms who recently had a c-section. I actually had a newborn photographer come to my own house for my son's newborn portraits as I had a c-section and was unable to move as pain-free as I wanted. Lifestyle photography capture the home that you first brought your baby to - the bed that you all snuggled in together as a new family, the rocking chair that you used for those late night feeding and I love capturing all of the meaningful details you have put into their nursery design.
We even managed to capture a photo with her dad's baby bunny when he was a child..... How sweet is that!!
