Looking back on this past year has been amazing - I’ve met so many beautiful people and was able to capture such wonderful memories and valuable moments for so many families. I have been trusted with photographing 41 remarkable families at the Ronald McDonald House and 10 loving family portraits at a local women's shelter and loved every session. I would like to thank each one of you for your trust and admiration and most certainly my own family that encourages me to grow further every day.
January marks a really big milestone in my business: it’s officially been 1 year since I opened up my studio. ONE YEAR!! I can’t believe it - It went faster than I ever could’ve imagined. Look out for my next newsletter for some special deals to celebrate my One Year Studio Anniversary!
I’ve learned a lot this year - I’ve taken many online workshops and in person training and still learning... In fact, I have an in person workshop scheduled in 2 weeks where I hope to learn some new techniques for bringing my business to the next level. This year I will be doing more of what I love: themed sessions and special limited edition location shoots - such as summer sunset sessions, Toronto Island + Carnival sessions, Real train sessions and charity photoshoots. Possibly even teaching some workshops - teaching parents how to take better photos of their children. Message me if you would be interested in something like this?
In 2019, there will be some exciting changes. I’m going to start offering a more luxurious photography experience which will allow families to walk away with stunning pieces of fine art instead of just digitals. I will be offering in person gallery reveals and a wide array of heirloom art products… I”ll take care of you every step of the way. I’ll be introducing new software to help clients envision their fine art pieces on their own walls with a full service experience that includes custom art work with professional installation included. From fine art prints to hand bound gallery wrap canvases and heirloom premium albums, you will walk away with beautiful keepsakes to display in your home and love always.
I will be offering professional make-up application and hair styling with each maternity session. I currently include a wide range of maternity gowns for clients to use for their session but will also be offering a professional wardrobe consultation for family sessions!
